Specialist in dealing with complex and problematic cases, Angelo creates and develops innovative solutions for situations that are often considered lost by the market, including distressed M&As, sales of assets in special situations, operational performance improvements, among others. Expert in insolvency legislation, he stands out for his ability to negotiate to converge the interests of debtors and creditors. In his first 6 years of EXM he led consulting projects in various practices in companies such as Grupo Anhanguera, Drogaria Iporanga, Whitford, Flex Colchões, Sagra, Panarelo, Adecoagro, Usina Mandu and Latasa (M & A). Prior to founding EXM, he was a PwC executive for 8 years, where he worked on auditing and consulting projects for the sugar and ethanol companies São Martinho, Santa Elisa, Vale do Rosário, MB and Moema; In addition to companies from several industries such as Whirlpool, Eucatex, Rodobens and Telemar. Prior to that, he was a PwC executive for 7 years and a BDO Directa for 4 years, leading auditing projects in numerous companies. Partner of EXM Partners, with more than 30 years of professional experience, has conducted more than 150 projects in various practices, including restructuring and corporate recoveries. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant in the accounting, tax and business areas of large companies, such as Drogacenter Medicine Distributor, Mafra Surgical and the sugar and ethanol mills Monte Alegre, Vale do Rosário and MB. He was a senior executive at PwC for 12 years, where he led auditing and accounting, tax and process consulting projects at companies such as Rodobens Group, Miller Group, Santa Emília Consórcio, Dabi Atlante and the sugar and ethanol mills Santa Elisa S/A, São Martinho S/A ande Pedra S/A. Before taking the lead in these projects, he worked in accounting and financial auditing and consulting in several companies, such as Grupo Anhanguera, Adecoagro and Drogaria Iporanga. Prior to joining EXM in 2007, he worked as a professional in the administrative area of Companhia Brasileira de Alumínio (CBA), owned by Votorantim Group. Andre Rocha is the Managing Partner at EXM Partners in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in charge of the Corporate Finance, Bankruptcy Administration and Marketing and Communication practice areas. He has almost 20 years of professional experience and has worked on more than 40 restructuring, business recovery and strategy projects in several industries, including merger and acquisition transactions, investment fund structuring and asset tracing. His projects involved, among others, such cases as Ruette Agroindustrial, Passaredo Linhas Aéreas, Viação Itapemirim, Pearson Education and Haver & Boecker. Prior to joining EXM in 2012, Mr. Rocha held leading positions in national and multinational companies including ABB, 3M, Cargill, Fischer, and Vale, with a proven track record of accomplishments in commercial, supply chain, financial, and consulting activities. Mr. Rocha is a co-founder and Vice President of the Brazilian Institute of Asset Recovery (IBRA) as well as Professor and Project Director at the Brazilian Institute of Bankruptcy Administration (IBAJUD). He is a member of the Distressed M&A and Workouts Committee at Turnaround Management Association (TMA). Mr. Rocha holds an MBA in Business Management from Faculdade de Economia e Administração da Universidade de São Paulo (FEA-USP) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Ribeirão Preto. He is currently attending a Master program in Business Law at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV Law) in São Paulo..
